Black Garlic Launch!
To launch our beautiful, exotic and undiscovered new product, Black Garlic; we invited a selection of people to our tasting and information event held at Belvedere Bar N Grill, Portside. The event was a success, and everyone was intrigued at how well Black Garlic accompanied such a wide range of dishes. Guests included several buyers and shop owners, food bloggers and writers and several renowned Brisbane chefs. All were amazed at the products diversity and credit goes to chef Mark from Belvedere for creating such amazing dishes that helped us make Back Garlic even more credible.
The dishes served were as follows:
Seared Pepperd Beef with Black Garlic Puree and Horseradish cream
Seared morcilla with sea scallops and Black Garlic on crostini
Gorgonzola and Black Garlic on oat biscuits
Roast Duck with Black Garlic and sesame dressing in pastry cups
Black Garlic Ice Cream in Bambino Cones
Tempura Prawms with soy, ginger and Black Garlic dressing
Oxtail dumplings with chilli and Black Garlic jam
Spiced pork belly with apple and Black Garlic puree
